June 22, 2007

Testing services provider, nFocus, has been approved as a level one partner within the Government Gateway Alliance Programme.

The Government Gateway’s Alliance Programme (GGAP) is part of the Cabinet Office E-Delivery Team’s ongoing commitment to work in partnership with key IT suppliers to deliver the Government Gateway and related services across the Public Sector.

The E-Delivery Team (EDT) supports a shared service culture and is responsible for a set of products which combined to form the Government Gateway, a mission critical ICT application for online government services. EDT’s work supports the Transformation Government activities.

NFOCUS AND THE GOVERNMENT GATEWAY
nFocus has supplied testing services to the Gateway from the early stages of its existence and has provided the majority of the testing team. The testing that nFocus performs incorporates a significant amount of test automation implemented using a robust automation framework.

nFocus’s Technical Director, Daniel Crone commented: “being accepted on the GGAP is proof of nFocus’s capabilities and recognises our credentials within E-Government. We are very excited by the opportunities offered by this programme.”

Other GGAP approved companies include IBM, Microsoft, Fujitsu, BT, Business Link, Dell, to name a few.
