Microsoft Testing Stuff

nFocus were delighted to see so many people attend Microsoft Testing Stuff Sprint 4. At this Meetup we had a session from Colin Beales and Martin Beeby from Microsoft.

Meetup Sprint 4

nFocus started Microsoft Testing Stuff over a year ago to help facilitate a meeting place for anyone testing using Microsoft Test Manager & Coded UI as well as for those testing Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Dynamics, Windows Phone to name just a few. We hold in-person Meetups in the evenings at a London pub every three months. At each Meetup we have at least two brilliant presentations from thought leaders from Microsoft and the community. We also supply beer, wine and soft drinks for networking in-between the sessions. We now have over 150 members and held four very successful Meetups.

Microsoft Testing Stuff Meetup in London

At the latest Meetup we had Colin Beales, ALM & Visual Studio Tools Specialist at Microsoft talking about incorporating testing into Visual Studio Release Management. We also had Martin Beeby, Developer Evangelist at Microsoft talking about how to test Windows 8 apps. If you would like to see the slides for this event please visit the Meetup page. This Meetup had around 30 members attend, although we would have had more if hadn’t suffered a DDoS attack around the event.

Sprint 5 is scheduled to take place on the 23 of June. Please join the group to learn more.
